Expansiveness in group theory.

‎‎‎I want to share some ideas and results concerning the algebraic counterpart of the property of expansiveness from traditional topological dynamical systems theory and its relation to algebraic entropy. In particular, based on a remark in the classic AKM paper (Adler, R. L., Konheim, A. G., & McAndrew, M. H. (1965). Topological entropy. Transactions of the American Mathematical Society, 114(2), 309-319), a definition of algebraically expansive group automorphisms is given, and some properties dual to the standard ones are presented.
