Generic group properties.‎‎

In a space X of mathematical objects (sets, functions, structures, etc.) a property P is generic if objects with the property P form a comeager set in X. Intuitively, this means that most objects in X have the property P. Generic properties have been studied extensively in various spaces of objects. In this talk, I will give on overview of generic properties in some natural spaces of groups and topological groups.
